How your pet is cared for on the road
Safe transport is a routine, not a promise. Here is what happens to your pet between pickup and delivery.
Comfort and safety in the vehicle
- Climate-controlled vehicle for the whole trip.
- Cats and small pets crated the whole way; dogs crated or on their own bed, your choice.
- A professional handler who monitors every pet throughout the trip.
Breaks, food and water
- Scheduled rest, feeding and exercise stops.
- Regular bathroom breaks.
- Your pet's own food, so their diet stays the same.
Staying in touch
- Photo check-ins and status updates along the route.
- Text us any time. After hours, we reply when we are back on the clock.
What the trip environment looks like
The vehicle is climate-controlled for the whole trip, and cats and small pets ride in crates sized to fit, and dogs ride crated or on their own bed. Rest, feeding and exercise stops are scheduled throughout the route, and your animals are never combined with another owner's pets.
What your handler does
- Stays with your animals from pickup to delivery.
- Monitors each animal for comfort throughout the trip.
- Runs the scheduled rest, feeding and exercise stops.
- Sends photo check-ins and status updates.
- Delivers your animals to your door.
What handlers do not do
Handlers monitor and comfort your animals. They do not provide veterinary treatment. If your pet has a medical condition, talk to your veterinarian before the trip and tell us about it when you request a quote.
